We have found that of the many training courses available, very few tailor the course to the diverse needs of individual participants.
We offer an introductory course to either individuals or small groups, often a group of friends or colleagues so that at the end of the session they are safe and confident to provide basic treatments to their patients. We also find that some participants have perhaps been to a course already where they are in a large group, with little hands on experience. They may often have lacked the confidence to provide treatments unaided and time goes on and the momentum to ‘take the plunge’ is lost. Our courses can build on the initial knowledge and help participants to effectively incorporate these procedures into their practices.
Our courses are normally run in South Devon and we invite participants to bring their own models along on the day. The charge for the course varies depending on the needs of the participants and products are charged at cost price which some participants charge to their models. All catering is included in the price. Totnes is a lovely market town with lots of independent shops, your models and colleagues can wander around the shops etc while waiting to be treated or people often choose to sit and chat over coffee here. Our courses are run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. It is an intensive day but very hands on. Our dates are flexible and depend on whether it is for 1 or 4 people, which is our total for here. We can do larger groups. Our trainer has twenty years experience and has a relaxed empathetic approach.
We belong to the International Academy of Advanced facial Aesthetics. We are one of only very few clinics in the South-West to be on the Government approved Independent Health Advisory Services register of approved clinicians and we are approved trainers for Hamilton Fraser, the main provider of insurance for facial aesthetic treatments.
If you decide to book with us we ask for a 10% deposit and we will send you our comprehensive manual which will give you lots of information pre course day. At the end of the day you will have a certificate valid for CPD, a dvd and we will put you in touch with our insurers.
